SEC Economics Dominate NCAA

From large crowds to pricey coaches, the SEC seems to have a lock on economics in college football.
The SEC has six teams in the top 11 in revenue from the 2007-2008 season, a feat that no other conference even comes close to.
Revenue must come from somewhere, so it is no surprise that the SEC lead in total attendance in 2008, 6,378,085, as well as average attendance.
Three coaches, Florida coach Urban Meyer, LSU coach Les Miles and Alabama coach Nick Saban, are all in the top 5 highest paid coaches in all of college football.
The SEC is full of pride and tradition, and it is shown through its dedicated fans, prestigious programs and winning ways.
